Yes, I’ve tried my hand again, almost too late for this weeks challenge, but, I think I may have just scrapped in. The theme was painful silence, you can visit Jane’s page HERE to take part, or look at all the other versions that happened.
But, below you can read mine.

I close my eyes, lost and without hope,
Knowing what life can never be,
Knowing I’ll never truly be me.
So, I tighten my grip on the rope,
Twisting and turning it around my throat,
Choosing suicide as my scapegoat.
My final words, seal in an envelope,
Addressed to you by name.
Telling you, you’re not to blame.
In the end I just couldn’t cope,
I’m broken, shattered, racked with pain,
But finally, with arms open, the silence came.
