A Villain Painted That Way – Twisted Microfiction 2020TOO

….“As the dust settles on his bloody corpse, let us all remember who said forever was a word unspoken. Let us feed our disenchanted hearts with the flesh of his loins, for he foolishly said that the road ahead was hard, while his member road in his stirrups soft. Broken, is the dream, and forever is his seed!” Banarby bellows as he pulls down on the lever, sending a shockwave of electricity throughout the millions of chambers that birth themselves across the caverns walls as far as the eye can see, and then beyond.

“W-What have you done?” Flounder says as his eyes widen with fear as chamber after chamber burst open, and an exact duplicate of Shawn tumbles to the ground, their minds addled, and their memories sparse.

“I have given to my pups what was promised, I have offered up their own hero to slay. Each child of the darkness will rise to the occasion and devour a version of this world’s hero for themselves. We will dine, for an eternity or more on their fleshy flaccid things. We will be reborn, and rejuvenated again and again, while the world falls beneath our hand of domination. While the world, becomes mine!”….
