“It’s not like that, I swear, we’re just mates, honest to god, that’s all we are,” he says jumping up from his seat.
“Dude, calm the fuck down. I really couldn’t care what you and Amer are doing, I was just saying you two seem to be spending a lot of time together is all. So just chill the fuck out.”
“W-We-Well, just mind your own business, okay? Anyway, you didn’t call me all the way over here just to ask me what’s going on in my love life, what do you want?”
“Love life? So it IS serious then,” He says with a smile.
“Cut it out! Either tell me what you wanted or I’m leaving OKAY!”
“For fuck sake Spencer, when did you become a drama queen, just sit down and I’ll tell you.”
They stare at each other for a few moments before Spencer finally sits back down, his hands clenched tightly into fists, “Come on then, tell me!”
He smiles and leans forward across the table, shifting his cup of coffee to the side, “Remember Joyce?”
“Who?”
“You know, that snotty bitch who used to live with Emma, the red head?”
“Yeah right, Joyce, that bitch caused so many problems, what about her?”
“Well, remember when you and Emma broke up, and you said if you had a moment alone with her, you’d get her back for all the shit she caused between you and Emma?”
“Yeah, course I do, why are we even talking about it, that was years ago?”
“Well,” he says, looking towards a door that leads off the small kitchen, then back to Spencer. “I ran into her last night, at Valentino’s, and, she came home with me,” he says, looking back over to the closed door, Spencer’s eyes follow his and then they stare back at each other.
“You’re fucking kidding me?”
“Would I? Go have a look, she’s tied up, just waiting for that talking.”
