Ash, burnt into it, the sand stood still for thousands of years, but the wind lest none, I was nothing, words written, lost to the water as it washed away, yet in the moments, when the air did silently stay, voices echoed, parasitic beasts fed, mankind eaten, blood thick, dying, smoldering on the decaying silence, I asked for forgiveness, I yelled for compliance, but in the end, as the world went away, my words were unwritten, lost in the sands of today…
