Bound by the Womb

A Twisted Verse by Matthew Tonks

I don’t know how my words would serve me,
if I had one more chance to see.
Another moment in your company—
my mother dearest, sweet symphony.

I swim in shadows and fill the dark,
the empty parts of who I am hold your mark.
Who you were and who you are stays clear—
every moment whispers you are near.

You watch above and settle our fears,
cheers of worship rising as the fog clears.
Goodbye—hello—wait a moment, wherever you are—
forever bound by the womb of time, forever never too far.

💬 Did this one echo?
Tell me—before it forgets your name.
