Day 190 – He Said – Where I Start

“I-I-Is, is that true?” She asks, turning to him, her eyes wide with panic, her bottom lip trembling.

“Would I lie?” He replies coldly, as he gently stirs his drink with a finger, smiling. She searches his face, his eyes, for anything, any hint of doubt, but finds little else, but confirmation of the words he just told her.

  1. Why is it so creepy when he stirs his drink with his finger? You play with my mind. I like how this feels linked to the next post too, the snappy nature of his thinking as opposed to hers.

    1. Haha, I agree it’s a weird thing to do, but that’s what he suggested, he seems to think it would give him an unusual vibe, which worked. He turned out to be quite the vindictive little bugger though.

      1. It’s brilliant. Little details like that lift stories to a whole different level. Note to self: never trust a man who stirs his drink with his finger on a first date.
