Paid In Less – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    wicked sounds coming,

    the days seeing it’s end,

    midnight ain’t a time,

    its a fact of life,

    the rider is crying,

    the signs are melting,

we keep calling for the saviour,

    but they ain’t gonna come,

    webbed feet below me,

    spiders on the ceiling,

    you call again,

    the vibrations around me,

eyes are all watching as I twist,

    you shout with burning desires,

    what wickedness were you expecting,

the only a daughter given to man,

save the sinners by bury them deep,

throws your head backwards and dance,

for the moonlight is burning brightly and your chance is almost gone,

the dirt covers you slowly as time going is against you,

while the beat is going under and so are you!

Fully In The Cloth – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    pumped into the system,

    the beat don’t stop,

    you wanna tap your foot,

but you can’t stand the sound,

summer ain’t what you want it to be,

    but neither is your face,

take a moment to think about it,

then spin around on the spot,

    furniture all gone sideways,

the winner ain’t gonna be you,

but you never had a chance,

so stoke the fires of flotsam,

    soak the sheep in gasoline,

    burn the bridges proudly,

    watch the sirens sing,

    hear them call your name,

    search the pockets empty,

    what a beautiful sight,

    smoke swimming around you,

    taking you down with them!

Absent From The Page – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    thunder in the sky,

    rain tearing down,

I spoke the words you wanted,

    I gave you the mirror,

    glass upon glass,

    images lost over the last,

    I never meant to lie,

but the worthlessness I’ve grown into,

    made the words fall out,

    a darkness opened before me,

    and swallowed me whole,

I wished the lie had been simple,

    silent words has been said,

truth sewn into each second passed,

but the poetry that was in motion,

    never let me see,

    the world I was building,

    was not made for me…

Till The Sun Dials Home – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    talk about wicked,

    the end showed its side,

waved a hand like some giant in the sky,

while the sun shone down on it,

    served up an apocalypse,

    liquidated the free,

    smash the glass before me,

cut my way from within me,

    bite my tongue,

    severed it to see,

the voices told me it was time,

    counting seconds down,

I knew the end was coming,

    we ran out of time,

    we could’ve tried it differently,

    but we never tried,

the voices told me it was time,

I waved up towards the sky,

as the sun fell from it,

    and the world died!

We Washed Freely – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    eye the salty tablets,

    pass the magazine,

the dawn of the faceless bastards has taken effect,

    beauty is a lie,

    hate the trendsetter,

    wake the woken,

show them the error of their ways,

    watch your star shine,

    see your fate take shape,

    you’re becoming one of them,

    lying to others,

    shaping your face with plastic,

    wrapping yourself shut,

    fake photos,

    parties losing count,

    blinded by the famous,

    chasing celebrity,

    soulless butchers waiting,

locking you in a cell of hate,

    fashion the silent killer,

cut your way out of self,

    free the inner victim,

beg to be free for the world,

    you lied to see!

For A Better Side – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    The knock was taken,

    when the door was open,

the last token of another life,

I saw the sand running down,

    the timer was almost over,

    my mind was not mine,

    a sea of consequences,

    lies all in a row,

    we consumed the devils playthings,

we spent the day falling in love,

while we grew the hatred at night,

a thousand years in a single day,

we failed to find the key,

it was lost in our hands,

    see the last speck,

of who the world saw us as,

    let the tears fall freely,

for the woven flesh is in tatters,

    pretty sideways glances,

of a moment lost in time…

    I Added One – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    Spoken to rhyme,

    a lie told in vain,

    carried in ignorance,

the sea that parted to be free,

I opened the cover and saw the eyes of nothingness,

denied by the apostles when the world began,

I swaayed the heart beats to flow the other way,

stars flooded the sky for all to see,

I witnessed the birth of the supernova called randomness,

felt the tears cascade down my cheeks,

while I carried your guilt into a new world,

so close your eyes and let it fall,

swing the backwards steps open like a new born baby,

long to share the tales told to me,

while I wish to close my eyes,

    tomorrow broken by today,

    we carry forward,

    we see the way,

    flood the fields,

    and watch me swim away!

Toes In A Row – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    sliding in low,

    watching the water flow,

    as the sun goes down,

the devils on your door step,

    knocking on your door,

asking for you to open up,

but ain’t no way he’s getting in,

your gonna keep that door shut,

otherwise its gonna be the end,

    sliding in low,

    soaking in the glow,

devil ain’t gonna give it up,

    but neither are we,

    fruitless timetables,

    highlighting the ebbs and flows,

a woven sidekick without out the egg rolls,

    you saw the funny side,

    I saw the end,

    sliding in low,

    heading in backwards,

we see the beat as it thumps,

    we feel the music rock,

    slap the wicked sideways,

    and we’ll bump,

    we’ll rock,

    we’ll see the end!

    dancing in the dark,

    spinning around wildly,

    as you say my name,

    don’t beg me the difference,

    don’t treat me the same,

    our window is open,

    for the weathers dropping downward,

    the winter is closing in,

    let the flames burn high,

    heat the savage heart,

    with a wicked smile,

for the depths of going forward,

    beneath the weathered boards,

    silently waiting under,

    a tomorrow open wide,

the birth of a new day,

    the death of the old..

so don’t be a criminal and ignore the order,

you life don’t mean anything if you don’t have a place,

the scales of justice are our disgrace,

    holding terror above the other,

    we call ourselves civilised,

    yet we fear each other,

Dale raises his hands high in the air and smiles broadly. “There are many things in your life you are capable of, but of those things the greatest is to be here with me, to celebrate this moment!” He says as he turns to the gigantic screen behind him that shows a live feed from a camera that sits somewhere in front of him, allowing everyone in attendance to see the star of the show.

He waves to himself jokingly, “Hello Dale!” He says enthusiastically to his big screen version.

“Hello Dale,” he replies. “Do you want me to take things over from here?”

Dale turns to the crowd who laugh as he makes a face and points at himself. “I’m sorry, but I thought this was my show?” He says.

“It is your show Dale, don’t let me take that away from you. But I’m the you from two hours ago, who you pre-recorded to allow the grand story of what has gone on in the past, to be told without fault or failure.”

“Are you saying, I don’t trust myself to tell the story correctly?” Dale asks.

“That sounds about it,” the big screen version says, as the audience breaks out in louder laughter.

“Oh well, I guess if I don’t trust myself, who can I trust?” Dale says with a smirk upon his face.

    “Well no one, obviously.”

“So tell us Dale, what brought us here to this point today?”

“I’m so glad you asked,” the big screen version of Dale says, as he looks out into the crowd. “At the beginning of the new millennium, a small veteran company that was on the verge of total collapse proceeded to make a giant leap forward in the mobile phone market when they released one of the first phones that included a camera. This movement revolutionised the market in ways no one would be able to understand, then more features were added until this little thing here,” he says holding up a small mobile phone, “was as powerful as this pile of now defunct pieces of equipment.” He says as the camera pans to an assortment of computers, cameras and other once highly sought-after electronic devices.

“Since then man has strived to continue to update and over produce the next big thing, the next gigantic leap in technology. But so far, no one has managed to take that big step, no one that is until my team and I at AnySoftware did something magical. We have taken that next step, to take a phone beyond that of a phone. We have made the steps beyond that of simply adding and quadrupling camera lenses. We have created the final evolution of not only the humble mobile phone, but we have also upgraded ourselves.” He says to a thunderous applause.

“Please you are too kind, you really are.” He says with a bashful smile on his face. “Now, I have to come clean. For you see, I’ve done some misdirecting at the beginning of the show. The little guy down there,” he says, pointing to the Dale who is on the stage. “That’s not actually me, it’s an actor by the name of Thomas Geard. Say hello Thomas?” He says.

“Hello!” Thomas calls out, waving to the audience with a huge smile on his face.

“Thomas steps in as my double from time to time when I have certain business needs that I can’t avoid taking care of, like today. Now before you get upset, I need you to understand what I’ve done for you today. I know many of you will find it hard to take the next step in our combined evolution, as it’s not that pretty to look at. Knowing that, I took it upon myself to personally have the new asPhone installed so I could show you just how it operates. Now without any more stalling, let’s give myself a warm welcome, as I show you the new asPhone XX!” He yells, the crowd roars to life with excitement as Dale fades away, and the screen focuses on a set of curtains that begin to part in the centre of the stage. The stadium falls silent as Dale awkwardly walks through the curtains, an asPhone surgically attached to his face, and two eyeball like camera lenses attached to his fingers. “We-Welcome to THE, THE, THE FUTU-FUTUREEE!!” He bellows.

Less Than A Window – A 5 Minute Creepypasta – Smashwords July Free Book Promo

Howard wipes the cascading waves of sweat from his brow with his grease covered forearm and hisses sharply as a sea washes into his eyes. He tosses his tools to the side and grabs handfuls of his torn shirt, pressing it firmly against his face. “FUCKING idiot!” he spits aggressively, as he pulls the fabric away and blinks repeatedly, then presses it against his face again.

She screams at him with an almost animalistic cry, and he casts a red eyed glare towards her, as she stretches her arms through the cage’s bars, trying to reach him. For a few seconds, when their eyes lock, she stands still and silent, staring at him as if she were somehow remembering who he was. Then as quickly as she stopped, she lets out a growl that comes from somewhere deep inside her stomach, and she launches herself forward once more.

“I KNOW! I KNOW! I’m almost done my love, and soon, soon we can be together again as I promised you we would! I just need a few more moments, and then you can let go of that dying meat suit.” he mumbles to himself as he drags the fabric across his forehead and turns back to the open chassis that sits on the table before him. He grabs his tools once again, and rolls his head across his shoulders, cracking his neck loudly. A gasp of relief escapes his lips, and he shoves the grimy handle of a screwdriver between his teeth as he thrusts his fingers deep into the engine, squeezing an eye closed as his fingers desperately feel blindly around, trying to catch a grip of a missing wire that hangs somewhere beyond his reach. His teeth clench tightly around the screwdrivers handle as he struggles to reach the wire, and suddenly feels a piece of something chip away and fly randomly off somewhere within his mouth at exactly the same time as he finally grips the cable. With panicked desperation he pulls the cable up, and like a baby being sighted for the first time by its mother, he lets himself part with an exhausted smile as he feverishly plugs the cable into the chassis manifold. It’s then that the foreign piece of material inside his mouth finds itself caught in the back of his throat, which causes him to dry reach. As he does, he stumbles backwards and hits the cage. For several silent moments he stands there disorientated, before he spits what turns out to be a piece of tooth, to the ground. His eyes grow wide with surprise, and he shoves several fingers in his mouth, feeling around frantically at his back teeth, while she digs hers into his shoulder at the same time. He screams in agony, as he fights himself free of her grip, and crashes to the floor in a bloody heap. He turns back to her with a fevered glare, as the blood quickly runs from his cheeks.

“W-W-What have you d-done?” he stammers as he gets to his feet and grips his shoulder gently, then hisses sharply with pain. “Y-Y-You’ve FUCKING k-k-killed me SUE!” he grunt as his face twists with pain. “You’ve FUCKING KILLED me and I’ve o-only finished you’re a-avatar, m-mine is still weeks i-if not months away f-from completion,” he says as he casts a wide-eyed gaze towards the curvy robot that lies before him, and the beginnings of another similar robot that lies on the table next to it. “GOD DAMN IT!” he yells as he grabs a curved piece of metal and locks it into place over the engine of the female droid, then turns to her with weary eyes. “I-I, I’m sorry,” he stammers as he grabs a long syringe which is connected to a laptop that has had several complicated upgrades made to it. He looks at her again as tears run down his cheeks and lets out a stuttered breath.

“FUCK IT!” he spits as he strides over to her and grabs her by the head, and holds her tightly against the bars, as she bites him again. He screams in agony as he thrusts the syringe into the top of her skull and strikes a key on the laptop. She lets out a high-pitched cry, as the room is engulfed in lights of various colours, then her head explodes, and he goes crashing to the floor.

The next few moments cascade into an overflowing handful of silent minutes without movement as the smoke slowly clears, until he eventually gets awkwardly to his feet, letting out a low animalistic growl.

“Hush now my love, you have brought me b-ba-zzz-ck from t-the dead, s-s-so, so, so now it, it is my t-t-turn to be the strong one,” the now functioning robotic woman says before screaming a barrage of unintelligible words then severs his head from his body.

The Wonderful Vast Push – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

    snowed-in beneath my sin,
