Day 219 – Patch Work – Whispered Words

Pieces here,

pieces there,

pieces of you everywhere,

I slit your throat,

I drained your blood,

I chopped you up,

I spread you out,

I sewed you up,

I stuck you back,

I played with you,

I jerked my cock,

I stuck it in,

I filled you up,

I broke you once again,

I lost my shit,

I lost my mind,

I paid the price,

and you paid mine.

  2. Mad as a box of frogs Matt. Good stuff but very twisted and dark…which, given my writing genre, I a compliment btw.

Are you fining this challenge is stretching your mind into strange places and…will you still be sane one it’s finished?

I was proper head after NaNo, and that was just a month!

    1. Haha, sane, a word, that describes so many things, none even close to me at the moment. I haven’t had the time over the last week or so to spend on here, so the shorts are more raw, some, not even getting a reread, but, the challenge itself is a cruel beast, one that I do not want to disappoint. But, if I can do what I have set myself up for, in a few weeks, my limited time will be reveled, and some new fun on here will be shared. But sane, no, no way. Hahah

      1. What happens if insanity becomes the norm…are you then sane in an insane mind…discuss…(10 marks)

Don’t worry my friend, most of my blog stories are raw and often not read back first. Often I am not after critical appraisal, but wanting to know if the story is worth spending more time on. Had a similar discussion with a potential beta reader. They were concerned about reading blow saying beta readers must do this or that…my view is tell me if the story reads as a story…if it does then I can work three drafts then use an editor and a proofer. I don’t need critical appraisal off a beta reader if I’m paying pros to do that.
I think you have set yourself an immense task. Major kudos to you too….even if you do end up so insane you become “sane”

      2. Haha, I’ll say one thing out of all this so far, the novel I was working on, is on the back burner for now, as the blog has birthed three of its own that, I’m tirelessly working may way through, one is in the final proof stage the other two are in second draft stages, so, sanity, who knows, if this is the norm, well, cheers to it 👍

      3. Well, I have one proofed waiting for a decision on what to do with it, one written and needing huge edits and one nearing completion after NaNo…if normality is defined by our similar dispositions then sane we are….or delusional and in denial of subsanity metacrises…..happy days 😊
