Twenty-one,

and then it will come,

or is it here,

feeding on your fear,

twisting and turning your insides,

hiding just out of view of your eyes,

the shadows they know,

for it hides in them,

knowing,

waiting,

salivating,

 its hunger grows,

as it’s fear spreads,

do you fear it’s coming,

do you want to know?

Soon you will, and your blood will flow.
