Twisted Roads – Twisted Horror Stories by Matthew Tonks

For Matthew’s 5th false 50 word story, he chose to take his words from a story that featured in issue 237 of Fear In Fear Magazine, called My Gloves, My Self, below you can read the short that was posted.

“It’s not fair, it’s not the way it should’ve went down, I could’ve done better,” he yells as he drives punch, after punch into the bag, his knuckles split open, bloody, his face, bruised and swollen.

“There’s no shame in defeat,” a voice says from the shadows.

“I should’ve won!”
