burn as they fall,

towards an ending,

that’ll kill us all,

unable to run,

from this final fate,

the truth comes out,

as does the hate,

hidden beneath,

twisted by time,

the bitterness burned,

this bitterness of mine,

it turned in flames,

it sprung into life,

I let go of the past,

and embraced its ending light.
