Karl shoves his hand into the drain pipe, desperately trying to reach the keys.
”C-C-Can you feel them?” Denise asks desperately.
”Almost there,” he says, twisting his tongue, hoping it will somehow add an extra inch to his reach, that’s when he feels something pierce the back of his skull.
