It staggers forward, falling clumsily to its knees and tears into Finnegan’s lifeless body, then stuffs torn pieces flesh into its hungry mouth.
“For the greater good,” Simmons says as he looks back at Claire, who clutches herself tightly, then nods in agreement.
“For the greater good,” she says softly.
