Unrealised Genocide – 100 Word Halloween Microfiction Short Story

Manny looks at Daniel, then over to Leo and shrugs his shoulders. “He’s not the smartest one I’ve ever met.”

“Don’t let him fool you, he’s playing the field right now, already looking to go for the unstable plea. He’s a grifter I’m telling ya,” Leo says through purse lips.

“I-I-I, I don’t know. I think this all might just be some big misunderstanding. He doesn’t even understand the charges, let alone what he did wrong. We suspect they know what they’re doing half the time, but as it generally turns out, most of them are just big dumb apes.”
