Spleen – 100 Word Halloween Microfiction Short Story

Grunting like an inept mute, he casts a half conscious glace towards her and smiles smugly.

“B-B-Bet you never saw that coming,” he spits with a laughter that quickly turns once more into cries of pain.

“She foresaw all that has taken place many a time, from eon to eon she’s been aware of this day, and she has been waiting for your arrival. So take your sarcastic tripe and stuff it within your bleeding anus Luke, for you are no more a surprise than the sun rising and falling.” Katharl hisses from atop the crumbing walls of the citadel.
