One Love – The Opening Cut

Love doesn’t die quietly—it tears through flesh screaming.

A grieving man refuses to accept the horrifying truth about the woman he loves, even as the world around him collapses into violence, bloodshed, and desperation. Trapped inside a storm-soaked home filled with death, fear, and decaying memories, Samuel clings to the fragile hope that love can survive even the most monstrous transformation. One Love is a bleak and deeply human horror story about obsession, denial, sacrifice, and the terrifying lengths people will go to for the ones they cannot let go.

He swings the shovel wildly towards the two men, sending blood and dirt spraying from the blade and splashing into the rain-soaked ground.

“I told you to go! I won’t tell you AGAIN!” he yells.

“Samuel! For fuck’s sake, son, she’s gone, and what’s left ain’t her ANYMORE! You have to let us do what must be done. Can’t you see you’re endangering everyone with this madness?” his father yells back, narrowly avoiding the edge of the shovel as Samuel swings it violently towards him again.

“You’re WRONG! You’re all wrong! She’s still in there, I can see it!

  1. Congratulations.

    1. Thanks so much, it’s more of a meaty chow down, more to be used as a building tool for what I’m hoping will be a strong Halloween release.

      1. Sounds interesting. Is it based on your writings here, or is it an other project?

      2. Here, some new stuff, but the idea started here, it just grew into something more.

  2. It’s always hard to let go of the inevitable, especially when you have
Infested everything you have into the relationship, yes even if it’s blood relations,it’s still an investment
It’s hard to carry the weight of love
When you are physically and emotionally impaired
    As Sheldon Always

    1. In the end, it may not be the true feelings that exist, but the belief, the desire, the stubbornness of unacceptance that remains, and that can be like a sledgehammer, destructive.
