Those Who Would Be Me – Wrapped In Words

As I slept,

My sanity subsided,

Replaced with a empty vessel,

Void of emotion,

Where I ceased to be me,

The me I became freely flaunted the deception,

Myself,

I,

And me,

Gave light to the darkness that had swallowed my everything,

And allowed it to be,

But unlike those of religious ilk that squandered their lives on a lie,

I built a lie upon a truth,

A truth that allowed itself to die,

For the narrows of wisdom I stole,

Only filled in the hole I had dug…
