You kiss me with your wayward smile,

and show me what it is to love,

you allow me life and purpose,

a gift unparalleled,

now let me show you,

let me go,

freedom painted on the wall of life,

prescription smiles,

surgical workouts,

sculptures bodies,

a goodbye layered with flowers,

while we say goodbye on pillows stuffed with razor blade,

you kiss me with your wayward smile,

while you smite me with your twisted heart…
