You’re Invited – 100 Word Halloween Microfiction Short Story

“I asked you here today because I thought you could help, not because I wanted to use you to further any grand plan I had, so get over yourself,” she hisses through clenched teeth.

“Them let me go. Cut my bindings, and allow me to go free from here!”

She laughs, throwing her head back with dramatic flair, then casts a sultry look towards him. “I don’t think that’s going to be possible, not now, not when they are coming to meet you.”

“W-W-Who’s coming t-t-to me-mee-eet me?”

“They are,” she says grinning broadly, as she looks up above him.
