Then nervously looks up at Roberto and smiles awkwardly. “S-Sorry, when I g-get carried away m-my adrenal glands kick into overdrive and f-flood my mouth with saliva.”
“Salivary,” Roberto quips back quickly.
“S-S-Sorry?”
“They are called your salivary glands, the glass that produce your saliva. It’s an honest mistake that anyone could make,” he says with a broad smile. “See your adrenal glands are in your kidneys, where your salivary glands are in your mouth.”
