All In The Wash

He looks behind him, then back to the strange man. “A-A-Are you talking to me?”

The man smiles broadly, “Is there anyone else here?”

Mitchell shrugs, and looks up at himself and Sarah who scream unheard words at each other.

“Not those two, they are not like us Daniel. They are on a different causeway, where we, we are by-products of a better time, a sweeter time.”

“A sweeter time?” he asks as he raises his brow in curiosity.

“Yes, those times in the void beneath voids. They were times grander than memories forgotten, do you remember our times together?”
