From Where You Take My Death

Doomed to fail at this moment,

said the story of a child,

its words resonated within my skull,

my love for my god separated my sin,

splitting down my flesh,

broken butterfly,

did she know what you did?

Did she notice you there?

Why did you call them by name?

Questions without answers,

lost to the touch of a child,

forgive them,

for they are not guilty of their sins.
