Am I The Beast In The Darkness?

I am not the monster you see,

for I still feel I am me,

but the ravages of time,

have decided their hate for my crime,

it wasn’t to do with power as they say,

it was pure like the dawn of a new day,

I saw my world falling, trying to survive,

I saw the darkness grow strong, I saw it thrive,

that’s when its words came into my head,

it told me of the bitter, bloody road ahead,

how the sinners win the ashes,

of what’s left of this world after it crashes,

then it told me about a choice, I never had,

it told me to start, with my cunt of a dad,

from there the blood flowed quickly,

my trail of destruction grew wickedly,

and now,

as I sit upon this mound of flesh,

I ask,

was it god,

or another,

who gave me this task…

    1. This one just wouldn’t work, I actually gave up, which is something I normally don’t do, and deleted everything. Then that line pieced its self together from the tattered words before me and it kinda changed the whole thing around.. I think, haha!
