Wild winds blow through the trees,

foretelling of something new,

or something old,

coming for me,

and as the days grow cold,

as the fires burn hot,

I know winter is coming,

but this beast is not,

I said its name,

I called for it to come,

but it was a story,

a myth,

a bullshit lie influenced by rum,

so don’t believe the stories of the devil or his kin,

and never fear the dark,

for those monsters are fiction,

those beast are not real,

but my knife,

with its blade sharp,

well that,

can kill.
