Hollow mirrors,

waiting shadows,

forever misdirected,

a flatline,

my lifeline,

taken in a moment,

drawn upon the ill-conceived congratulations of a lie,

racing within my eyes,

riding the broken lives,

moments crashing down,

fire cleansing fire,

the truth better than the imagination of what was manipulated by those around us,

see me stand,

see me fall,

fictional characters written within a factless well,

stories untrue,

nature undone,

madness aplenty,

sadness,

none…
