twisted demise,

sutures over wounds healed,

we question when the answers are obvious,

love the bad news,

regret the new,

my fist was full of hate,

it found comfort in your face,

we balance the many lies,

trash talk to disguise,

buried heads in sand,

a card game without faces,

the head of the table bends the rules,

days begin when the other ends…
