Dream A Windowed Mirror – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

I saw the shape,

it had no name,

it gave me purpose,

yet laid no claim,

for countless eons,

for many days,

it stood there watching,

no face,

no name,

winter wailed,

while summer wept,

a death inside me,

a moment not kept,

the weightless watcher,

continued on,

as silent as ever,

the fleeting moments,

turned into countless years,

and in the end,

it came to me,

it said some words,

that made no sense,

but just to be,

a tear it whispered,

as it took away my fears…
