Newer Than Old – Unhinged Poem 2020TOO

The dawn gave me eyes that life had failed to see,

a wisdom of nothingness,

a sea of thankless tries,

I asked,

but yet yearned to know,

purposed for the heartless,

while the open door of willingness was shut,

haggard whore,

sinister bore,

I questioned to last,

without seeing the first,



letters added,

victory not mine,


yet living,

a mirror not yours…
