“And then it repeats upon itself, catching him and anyone else who has the misfortune of being stuck in the room in a puerperal loop until the end of existence.” Jonathan says proudly with a broad grin across his face.

    “Until the end of existence?”

    “Yup,” he says smugly.

“And they can’t break the loop once it’s put into place?”

“Nope, only I can do that, and I won’t.”

“What if someone tries to force you?”

“I won’t yield to someone else’s demands, you should know that by now.”

“What happens when you die, will the loop stop then?”

Jonathan laughs softly. “The loop will continue on forever and beyond. No matter what happens to me, you or the rest of those cattle out there, they will stay lock in the loop.”

“What happens if you get stuck inside the loop yourself, can you break it to escape?”

“I could, if it served a purpose.”

“Would you be able to tell if you were in a loop, or would everything seem, normal?”

Jonathan smiles nervously as he quickly looks around the room, and then back at Price. “Okay buddy, what the hell is going on?” he asks slowly.

    “W-W-What do you mean?”

“I mean, have we had this FUCKING conversation BEFORE!”

The blood runs from Price’s face and he looks to the ground nodding his head.

“H-H-HOW MANY TIMES!” Johnathan bellows as he thrusts himself to his feet.

“T-T-Too m-many ti-times,” Price stammers as he looks up at him with tears running down his cheeks.

“B-B-But how t-the FUCK are y-you going to, you know,” he says nodding towards the sky. “H-How are you gonna do all that t-to something as b-big as the moon?” Sanford stammers nervously.

Joshua’s grin broadens as it takes a small silver sphere from his pocket and places it on the table between them. “I don’t have to do anything grand, when it is as small a coin.”

Sanford stares at the sphere with a wide-eyed expression while his mouth twitches erratically behind he casts his gaze back up to meet Joshua’s snugness. “B-B-Bullshit!”

“Why don’t you go look for yourself, and then  try telling me I’m lying.”

For several seconds Sanford holds his gaze before scrambling to his feet and rushes to the window, pressing his face against the glass. As he pulls his face away, he glances back at Joshua, and then into the sky once more.

“You’re not funny MOTHERFUCKER!“ he grunts.

“I wasn’t trying to be, for belief is half the job, the rest, the rest is all sleight of hand,” he says as he holds another sphere up for Sanford to see. The two share another silent stare, before he quickly pressed his face against the glass once again.

“Pleasantries aside Rohan, you need to stop being such a foolish child and tell me what it is you require, for even though I am many things, I am not as gifted in the art of conversation like you, and my brain sadly cannot hold onto the vital remnants of that which is said by others for long periods of time. So be out with what you need to pass over, and let us collide forward in a collision of unison as we join as one modified persona, ridding the world of its insecurities together.”

“What the FUCK does collide forward in a collision of unison mean?”

Mohinder smiles nervously as he slaps his hands together. “Like that! A unison that binds ourselves as one, not only in mind, but in essence as well.”

“I-I, I used to think you were a bit weird, but now I KNOW you’re stark raving  MAD!“

“Mad? Why, because I believe we will be stronger together, than apart? Because I believe one, is grander than two?” Mohinder asks before he smiles broadly. “Let me show you my collider, then maybe you will think differ..”

“FUCK YOU! There is no way in hell I’m getting in something called a collider if it does…” his mouth trembles as his mind desperately tries to find the words he wants to us, but the longer he takes the less ground he makes, so he slaps his hands together in imitation of Mohinder. “If it does that!”

As he drops to his knees with exhausted flair, the compass tables from his weakening grip, and tumbled to the earth below. He lets out an anguished cry as he fundings himself unmotivated and unable to manoeuvre himself into any form of retaliation.

As the compass hits the ground, the glass case exposes outwards, quickly followed by the arrow arm that was moments ago attached to the centre boss assembly.

He sucks in a breath, and stutters wildly, as it hits the earth again and again, bouncing it’s way away from him until it finally comes to a stop some feet away.

He stares at its remains with a horrified gaze, daring even not to breath. After what seems more like hours than minutes he reaches for it with a trembling hand, only to have it dissolve away before he can reach it.

“NO!” he bellows as his eyes widen with avid desperation, and the colour in his face quickly changes from a mustardy pink to a dull grey in seconds. His eyes buzz within their sockets as he slowly loos over to the grinning William, and repeats his panicked cry.

William’s grin widens, and laughs loudly. “OH YES MY FRIEND, OH YES INDEED!” he scoffs with animated flair.

“Why so worried pretty boy, you said this was one of your specialties. If you’re not so confident, talk and we will revisit the feats placed before you. Talk, and we will grant you a boon, or you can make another ridiculous manoeuvre in a long line of ridiculous manoeuvres, and see how you fare.” Melinda says with a sarcastic smile upon her well dressed face.

“I-I-I,” he stammers as he stops and sucks in a desperate breath of air, before adjusting the helmet and tightly screwing up his nose as he clenches his mouth shut. “Just do I,” he snarls as he locks his eyes forward and swallows.

She falls back into her throne like chair and laughs callously. “May you fare better than all those that have gone before you,” she says as she signals for his release, within seconds he is hurtling downwards towards the depths below.

“While your question is vastly inappropriate for this time slot,” he says as he gives a nod and a cheeky wink to the camera, before turning his attention back to Sonya. “I find it difficult to give an accurate answer without losing my inner self. So I’ll choose the easiest route to the finish line and say it’s a very slight variation on the classic twist made popular by those in the know, and without a doubt my favourite manoeuvre, kill the children and then the adults. It’s overused I know, but nothing makes a parent more accessible and open than their kid getting killed before their eyes.” Mark says with eyebrows raised and a sly smirk drawn across his lips.

“Although I applaud and appreciate your rationale, a variation on the classic twist would mean it would need to be an actual variation, and if this so called variation is used regularly, it’s not what you would call a variation now is it?” Sonya says with a wicked grin as she brushes her hair away from her face and flutters her eyelids as she casts her gaze towards Derek. “Kill him and I’ll grant you four days.”

Mark’s face drains of all its blood as his lower lip trembles and he darts a desperate glance towards Derek, and then back to Sonya. “W-W-WHAT THE F-FUCK ARE YOU D-DOING!” he screams, only for Sonya’s smile to grow as she doesn’t remove her focus from Derek.

Patrick allows his eyes to draw back into their sockets, before quivering a smile across his lips and sighing loudly, more for dramatic flair than anything else. “I fully understand that THIS is not a game, but what I fail to understand is why YOU seem to think it is.”

Shawn’s cheeks burst with colour while his jaw gyrates with a nervous twitch, then a broad grin tears itself across his lips. “There is no need to be petty Patrick, life is one big game and we are both fully fledged adults who can assume some moral step above the precipice that is called our lives while digging the proverbial knife into the stomach of mankind.” he says as the blood runs from his cheeks once more and his brow furrows. “But this here, this thing happening between you and me, this is NO game!
